About Me

My name is Jacek Macioszek and I run a small carpentry workshop in Poland. I am very pleased to meet you :)

I am the third carpenter in a generation and also the first to set up Hour Woodwork. I love woodworking and, just like my dad and grandfather, I do my best to make my products conquer the World and only hit the tastes of customers who share my love for wood with me.

My work is guided by the idea that I don't have to do what I don't want to do at all. My products are not made to please the many, but to be appreciated by the few. I am not backed by big money, the most expensive machines or a stylish carpentry shop. No. It's just me and a handful of my beloved people who want to help me realise my passion.
